AEGEAN welcomed elementary schools’ students from all over Crete to the theatrical performance “Thiseas and Minotauros”

Last Friday, December 15, the Cultural Conference Center of Heraklion was filled with children's smiles from elementary school students from Crete, who attended the performance "Theseas & Minotauros" by Carmen Ruggeri, a kind offer from AEGEAN. For the second consecutive year, the company invited elementary school pupils from all island's counties and offered the opportunity, following a draw, to enjoy the performance for free.

More than 2,000 children from 120 elementary schools in Crete responded to AEGEAN's call, while 650 students attended. It is worth mentioning that, in order to facilitate the access of students from all parts of the island, provided transport from the regions of Chania, Rethymno and Lasithi.

At the beginning of the performance, children had the opportunity to discuss with the performers, while AEGEAN staff and volunteers offer the young pupils gifts and a meal before their return to school.

AEGEAN seeks to support the island's major cultural events and, through its permanent partnership with the Cultural Conference Center of Heraklion, undertakes initiatives that facilitate children's access to stimulating activities.
