AEGEAN offers Easter Candles to all children passengers, supporting NGO

During Holy Friday and Holy Saturday, AEGEAN will offer Easter Candles from Doctors of the World (MdM-Greece) and ELEPAP, to all children passengers, along with delicious treats and gifts to all.

With a symbolic gesture to all young passengers that will travel during this year’s Easter, AEGEAN supports the work of NGO’s and through them the vulnerable social groups and those in need.

More specifically, during Holy Friday and Holy Saturday, AEGEAN will offer to all children passengers of domestic flights, Easter Candles from Doctors of the World – Greece (MdM-Greece) and ELEPAP in an effort to support their work, while white candles will be offered to all adult passengers, as a way to create a celebratory atmosphere on air.

At the same time, aligned with Greek traditions and local customs throughout the Holy Week, all passengers of domestic flights, will enjoy traditional Easter delicacies, such as tsoureki, chocolate eggs and snacks, while special meal options will be available for both business and economy class passengers on all international flights. On Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, business class passengers will indulge in a festive menu, while all young passengers will enjoy the sweet creations by pastry chef, Stelios Parliaros. Moreover, for one more year, AEGEAN will honor the “Botides” custom, by offering traditional ceramic jugs to those who will travel to Corfu.
