Latest update on AEGEAN’s flights from Santorini to Athens on February 3 and 4

AEGEAN informs that yesterday, February 3rd, operated in total 9 flights from Santorini to Athens, 4 scheduled and 5 extra special flights, carrying a total of 1294 passengers from the island to Athens.

For today, February 4th, 8 flights are already scheduled, 4 scheduled and 4 extra special flights, all operated by Airbus A320 aircraft with a total capacity of more than 1400 seats.

Until now, there are still available seats in at least 2 of today's extra flights from Santorini to Athens.

Within the first two days, about 2500-2700 passengers are estimated to have been carried from Santorini to Athens with our flights.

Due to the special circumstances, the aircraft arrive in Santorini with very few passengers, mainly government officials, while the flights departing from Santorini at almost full capacity.

The fares for the seats offered to all additional extra flights both, yesterday and today, range between 55-65 euros (along with VAT and 22-euro airport taxes from Santorini-Athens). Should extreme circumstances prevail, additional special flights are to be operated on Wednesday, February 5th.
