Flight cancellations and adjustments of AEGEAN and Olympic Air due to the participation of the Hellenic Air Traffic Controllers Union in a 24-hour general strike of ADEDY on Friday, February 28, 2025

AEGEAN and Olympic Air would like to inform all passengers that because of the participation of the Hellenic Air Traffic Controllers Association in the 24-hour general strike announced by ADEDY on Friday, February 28, 2025, are obliged to cancel or adjust scheduled flights of the domestic and international network.

Specifically, on Friday, February 28, 2025, all scheduled flights of the domestic and international network are canceled, except for the following, which will operate with the adjustments listed below:

In order to better facilitate the affected passengers, AEGEAN has arranged for the addition of extra flights and available seats on both the domestic and international network the days right before and after February 28.

Passengers who hold tickets on affected flights will be directly notified from the airline or they are advised to contact the travel agencies through which they purchased their tickets, in order to be informed on available options.

Additionally, AEGEAN, to facilitate passengers who have planned to travel for the long weekend of the upcoming bank holiday from March 1st to March 3r and may wish to reschedule due to the strike, are offered the below options: 
a) Free reissuance at no additional cost for travel or flights until December 31, or
b) Issuance of a credit voucher.
