AEGEAN Easter Crew Spreads the Spirit of Giving and Solidarity

Over 100 AEGEAN employees members of the company’s volunteers group joined forces last Monday, April 14th, at the company’s premises to prepare “Easter baskets" filled with food, other necessities, traditional sweets, and handmade Easter candles — all crafted by the volunteers themselves with guidance from SOS Children’s Villages staff. This initiative was part of AEGEAN’s ongoing volunteer efforts. The baskets were distributed during the previous days with the assistance of Emfasis Foundation to individuals and families in need, a gesture coming from AEGEAN’s employees.

In parallel, handmade Easter candles from "Amymoni," the Panhellenic Association of Parents, Guardians, and Friends of People with Visual Impairments and Additional Disabilities, and from "Shedia Street Magazine," in support of homeless and socially excluded people, will be distributed by AEGEAN crews to both younger and older passengers on flights during the coming days. This initiative conveys a message of giving and solidarity, while also supporting the important work of these organizations.

With the enthusiasm and active participation of AEGEAN’s volunteers and crews, the company’s commitment to making a meaningful contribution to society is once again highlighted, as it continues to support those in need.
