Flight disruptions due to 4 Hour work suspension of ATC Personnel and the Hellenic Civil Aviation personnel on 11th May 2011

As a result of  the work suspension (12:00 – 16:00)  of the Air Traffic Control Personnel  and the Hellenic Civil Aviation Personnel  on the 11th of May 2011, Aegean Airlines is being forced to cancel a number of flights which were due to operate on Wednesday, 11 May, 2011.

We have cancelled 24 domestic scheduled flight sectors and 4 international scheduled flight sectors.

06.   A3 316/317 ATHENS-IRAKLIO-ATHENS     

07.   A3 454/455 ATHENS-KALAMATA-ATHENS

08.   A3 378/379 ATHENS-MYKONOS-ATHENS

09.   A3 256/257 ATHENS-MITILINI-ATHENS 

10.   A3 734/735 THESSALONIKI-SAMOS-THESSALONIKI

11.   A3 146/147 ATHENS-ALEXA/POLIS-ATHENS

12.   A3 348/349 ATHENS-SITIA-ATHENS

13.   A3 906/907 ATHENS-LARNACA-ATHENS

At the same time AEGEAN is forced to change the departure time of 13 domestic scheduled flights sectors and 26 international scheduled flight sectors.

AEGEAN will try to communicate with most of the passengers whose flights were canceled in order to transfer them on other flights of the network and to inform them about changes in the departure times.
