Aegean Airlines announces new code-share agreement with bmi. Six new destinations in United Kingdom and Ireland.

Aegean Airlines, Greece’s largest airline and bmi, a member of Star Alliance, have recently signed a commercial co-operation agreement including the operation of the route Athens/London in code-share with significant benefits to be offered to both companies’ customers.

Entering into force οn October 25th, with the move of Aegean’s operation to London Heathrow, the code share will allow Aegean Airlines to offer 6 new onward connections via a transfer in London: Manchester, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Belfast and the Capital of Ireland, Dublin. The partnership will also allow bmi to offer 4 new onward connections via a transfer in Athens: Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Chania and Rhodes.

All flights will carry both companies’ codes ('A3' and 'BD').
