AEGEAN AIRLINES increase fuel surcharge due to continued fuel price rise

With the fuel price reaching record highs on the world markets, AEGEAN AIRLINES is compelled to effect a further increase in the fuel surcharge.

An additional Euro 2 will be added in each direction to all tickets to domestic destinations and additional Euro 4 will be added in each direction to all tickets to international destinations from October 1 onwards. Special offers of 39 Euro and 59 Euro for domestic and international destinations respectively are not affected from the above increase.

It is worthy to be mentioned, that fuel cost represents 25% of the total cost of the company.
