Hellenic Chamber of Hotels awards

Mr. Theodore Vassilakis, Chairman of Aegean Airlines receives the prize from Mr. Dimitris Avramopoulos, Minister of Tourism and Mr. Makis Fokas, President of Hellenic Chamber Hotels.

In recognition of AEGEAN contribution to the Greek tourism development, Aegean Airlines was awarded as best tourist enterprise during a ceremony for the annual awards given by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels.

Recipients of the Hotel Chamber's awards included former president Kostis Stephanopoulos for his contribution to the country and tourism, Athens Olympics Organising Committee chairwoman Yianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki for her contribution to the success of the Olympic Games, the Grande Bretagne for best city hotel, the Elounda Beach hotel for the best holiday resort, Life Gallery in Ekali for the best design and art hotel, the Hotel Imaret in Kavala for the best traditional lodgings and the Sunwing Resort for the most environmentally friendly behaviour.
